4. WhatsApp Data & Messaging

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (powered by Meta) to provide an automated appointment booking assistant. When you message us on WhatsApp:

  • Your WhatsApp phone number and messages are processed by our server to manage appointment bookings via the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API.
  • Message data is transmitted through Meta's infrastructure and is subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy.
  • We only use the information you share on WhatsApp (name, phone number, preferred appointment times) for the purpose of managing your dental appointments. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
  • Conversation data is not stored permanently on our servers. It is held temporarily in memory only for the duration of your active booking session and is discarded afterwards.

Opting Out of WhatsApp Messages

You can stop receiving messages from us on WhatsApp at any time by:

  • Sending "STOP" to our WhatsApp number
  • Blocking our WhatsApp Business number on your device
  • Contacting us via email at info@pranamdental.in to request removal

Opting out of WhatsApp will not affect your ability to book appointments through our website or by phone.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): For automated WhatsApp messaging and appointment management
  • Cal.com: For online appointment scheduling
  • Google Calendar: For managing appointment availability and bookings

WhatsApp conversation data is held temporarily in memory during your active session (up to 20 minutes of inactivity) and is not stored permanently. Appointment records created through Google Calendar are retained for as long as necessary to provide our dental services and may be deleted upon your request.
